Chesapeake Minerals Adds New Wet Plant to Increase Capacity

With operations commencing in 2021, the growth of our business necessitated the installation of additional production capabilities. We recently broke ground on modifications to our wet plant that will significantly improve our production yields as well as increase our annual capacity of low-iron quartz.  These improvements will ensure that we have the material to support our growth with existing customers and will allow us to gain new customers and to expand the reach of our high-value products to other industries. Foundation slab work is almost complete, and we expect the plant to be completed by the end of 2023 and supplying product to customers in early 2024.
